Reunion Concert presentation

I’ve just got back from the John Eastwood Hospice, where we presented to them a cheque for £2140. Click here to see photo. This was the money raised at our Musicians Reunion Concert on October 16th last year.We were joined by the ladies of the Malcolm Lees Choir, Old School,
Musical Fruit, The Shudders, Rosemary & Thyme, Adams & Co and Redwing. The money was from the £5 a head entrance charge, the cash prize raffle and donations on the night. We are now in the process of organising this years concert. Because this will be the 5th year, we are organising two concerts. The first one to be on 21st May at the Black Market in Warsop and the second is on 15th October and will be at Forest Town Welfare instead of Rainworth miners welfare as it has been for the past four years. I will update the web site when I have any new information. Or see www.wuduslad.co.uk .

Grimethorpe WMC

First of all........ thank you Grimethorpe for a fantastic night! We really enjoyed it! Hope you did as much as we did? One lady came up and thanked us personally.Apparently it was her 60th birthday yesterday and we took her back to the 60’s again! That’s what we are about and hope to have that result at the end of a night! Peter Noone ( Herman’s Hermits), now in America emailed us with “ keep up the 60\'s stuff guys not many of us left.” Only last week I told him about the decline in audiences hear in British clubs, but had he been there last night, he wouldn’t have agreed with me! A quick side note, our old mate ‘EZ’ was running the disco upstairs last night. Like us, he loves the music from the 60’s and 70’s. If you look at our gallery you will see photos I took of him a few months back. Click here to see photos.

Leicester Railwaymen's club

The first thing to say about this club is RODDERS! Rodney, the consec! He made us very welcome... even though he’s mad. The club itself is superb. Big stage in a large comfortable concert room.Great sound. No audience!!! What a disappointment to us after traveling all that way and then struggling to park our vehicles and then the long haul with the gear! Railway-men of Leicester unit and go to your club, you don’t know what you are missing. Maybe it was because they where expecting a solo act or even a duo with backing tracks/tapes ( with all due respect to solo and duo acts). Not expecting a band playing instruments and singing live??
Or perhaps it’s because it was back to work on Monday morning. Who knows? Let us in on the secret ..... contact us. Please .

Brimmington Social

What can I say?? A great club. Even better folks. A brilliant night . 8 out of 10 marks for the fag pen! Weather not so good, but compensated inside by all that sunshine! See photos click here.

Bracebridge Heath Lincs

A great night last night, we were honored to play at a double 50th birthday celebration in Bracebridge Heath Village hall near Lincoln. I must mention Tony and his BLAST FROM THE PAST disco.... more than just a disco, a full nights entertainment. AND a LOVER of GOOD MUSIC!!! Thanks Tony, from everyone there. Again, a fantastic group of folks from all over England attended to celebrate. It’s what we expect in Lincoln! Click here to see photos.
