The rain held off and the carnival was a successes.ONE PROBLEM! We had no power. 11K PA at the ready, all set up but our power extension would not reach the 1/2 mile to the nearest power point. Yes, you guessed it, the organisers forgot the small detail of power. Great stage supplied by BOWERING TRANSPORT but no power. By the time it turned up, people had started to leave. Only a handful stayed to watch. THE SHOW MUST GO ON. Personally, I think the stage should have been set facing the beer tent area. That was well patronised. No worries, we are sure we put on a good show. Pity most people missed it.
